The Breeder Incentive Program (B.I.P.) has been set up with the purpose of creating a higher purse for the IRHA Futurity. Starting from the year 2009, the IRHA Futurity is open only to horses by stallions enrolled in the B.I.P. or regularly enrolled as per stated deadlines.
The program foresees that the stallion be enrolled on or before October 31st of the year preceding the breeding season. Stallions enrolled after this date will be subject to penalties; the substitution of enrolled stallions is not permitted.
One foal by each enrolled stallion will have a 40% discount on the Futurity entry fees; all the other foals by the said stallion will pay the regular Futurity entry fee.
Foals by Sires not enrolled in the program may be registered on or before October 31st of the second year of age (€ 2.500), or on or before September 30th of the third year of age (€ 4.000), plus the regular Futurity entry fee.
The enrolled stallions will be promoted in a special B.I.P. section of the Reiner magazine, in the Reiner magazine beginning of the year Stallion Catalogue and on the IRHBA website.
